Suggested Resources during the COVID-19 Closures

During this time, many families are facing new challenges such as working from home, decreased income, lack of childcare, and lack of structure from school closures.  As we all work through this uncharted territory, children with disabilities may have increased difficulty as their schedule and routine have been abruptly changed without the ability to predict when their normalcy will return.  Many students will benefit from establishing a consistent schedule of their day and continuing to do things that are similar to their school day.

While we are not educators, we work with many families to help support their child(ren) in their educational program.  We hope to continue to be a member of your child’s team and ease the burden on families by providing a central location to find useful resources during this time.  While they may not meet all the needs of your individual child, we hope that some of these resources will help your family. We will regularly provide additional resources on our Facebook page, please follow us to stay up to date!
